Further to your advertisement in the Small Town Times
regarding voluntary work at your hospital, I would like to express my interest.
I am a resident of Small Town and my children and grandchildren were delivered at your hospital. The hospital employees have always taken good care
of my family when they were ill and I would like to somehow give back the
support I have received by offering my services. I have recently retired so I would like to use my spare time to help my local community.
I have worked as an Office
Administrator for thirty five years, therefore, I believe it would be ideal for me to assist with any office
duties such as filing, answering the phone, and filling in forms for patients.
I am available for work in the mornings from 7am until 2pm
from Monday to Friday. Unfortunately, I am not available in the afternoons or at weekends.

ReplyDeleteI write in reference to your advertisement published on 13th May, 2017, in the local newspaper regarding the requirement of people who would be interested in working at the hospital without expecting any payment in return.
I would love to work at the hospital because helping someone provides me with a sense of satisfaction. Moreover, my mother was admitted to your place last week, and because of lack of volunteers she faced several issues. It would be unconscionable if I let the same thing transpire with other people.
I would love to take care of the elderly patients. I can listen patiently to their needs and assist them with going to restrooms. Furthermore, I can support them if they should go out for a stroll. Every week I have off on Wednesday and Thursday. Therefore, I am available on both the days between 9am and 3 pm.
Please let me know if I am supposed to submit any personal document(s) or should come at the hospital for a meeting before I start working.
