Formal letters - General Training IELTS

When writing a formal letter:

Use formal vocabulary
Use long forms (I am, He is, She is not, They are not etc)

Opening/Closing
Opening:
Dear Mr/Mrs/Ms (name) Closing: Yours sincerely,


Opening: Dear Sir/Madam, Closing: Yours faithfully,

Starting your letter
